MODERN FACILITY ‘MUNDHRA BLOCK’ INAUGURATED AT LIONS NETRALAYA OF SILIGURI

Webdesk, TNI Siliguri 26th June, 2016: At Lions Netralaya located at Mahanandapara of Siliguri today the most awaited Mundhra block was inaugurated. This was followed by a program organised by the authorities. During the program, the donators of building the block were felicitated. The dignitaries present on the occasion were the president of the club Mr. Ram Kumar Agarwal, Secretary Mr. Raju Lakhotia, Program organiser Mr. Rajendra Mundhra, Second vice District Governor Mr. Shravan Choudhury and others. For the creation of the Mundhra Block the main contributors were the sons of Late. Bajranglal Mundhra and Late Smt. Bhagwati Devi Mundhra. The block was built at an estimated cost of around Rs. 50 lakhs. The secretary Mr. Raju Lakhotia said that in this block a total of 31 beds were placed. Apart from this 8 AC cabins, 11 male bed, 7 female bed and 1 isolation ward is also made. He also informed that for the first time in Siliguri electronic bed facility has been installed in this eye hospital, which can be operated by remote.
